Space for Reflection:
I am really amazed at how easy it was to create a custom header! Sites really do take on a professional look when they are organized and well designed.

Personal goal: start writing more! If I am asking my kids to write, I should also share the passion!

I've never really been to a tech conference such as this one. Teaching in Colombia before arrive to Shanghai means that I am currently a bit of a newbie when it comes to the tech possibilities available. We just didn't have the resources or professional development opportunities available to us. Now I am feeling a bit like a sponge, soaking up all the I can. Unfortunately, just like a sponge, some of what I have soaked up will inevitably be lost while I am carrying it back to my own classroom. I hope that I am able to maintain the drive and motivation I have obtained here at learning 2.011. I am the type of person that likes to sit and get lost in the discover of technology and it's possibilities, which leads to another issue that might arise. I often find myself lost in the learning of how to create, implement, lead
my students, so much so that I tend be up into the later hours catching up on what must be done, like assessing. I am all for figuring out how something works, and calling it professional development, but there are so many things that also need to be done. At some point I need to future out how to balance everything so that it blends seamlessly into the life that I want to lead, professionally and personally.
